 Frequently Asked Questions   URSA

What does URSA stand for, and what does it do?

University Records System Access. URSA gives UCLA students (and those who have been students within the last 10 years) real-time access to their University academic record. The system allows access for reference or to make certain changes. Access is available on the Web using URSA.

For more information, see URSA in the Schedule of Classes.

When is URSA available?

URSA is available Tuesday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., and Sunday 6:00 p.m. through Tuesday 1:00 a.m., including holidays.

Must I have a Bruin OnLine account to use URSA?

No, but you must have a UCLA Logon ID and password. Effective August 2006, Bruin OnLine IDs became UCLA Logon IDs. The UCLA Logon ID is required in place of other authentication (e.g., UID and PIN) effective October 30, 2006. For more information, see the Bruin OnLine website.
