A diploma specifies the degree, major, and honors awarded.

The diploma specifies the degree(s), major(s), minor(s), specialization(s), and honors awarded to the graduating student. The diploma carries the signatures of the governor of California; University of California president; campus chancellor; dean of the College, school, or division; and the official University of California seal.

Double majors within a single College or school are included on a single diploma. If one of the majors normally results in a Bachelor of Science and the other in a Bachelor of Arts, the diploma specifies the degree of Bachelor of Arts and Science.

Undergraduate students receive two diplomas when they complete two or more majors in different schools, or in the College and one or more schools.
