The charges below include Tuition (formerly Educational Fee), Student Services Fee, Professional Degree Supplemental Tuition (formerly Professional School Fee), and other charges as well as UCLA campus-based fees which are assessed to all full-time students. The charges are flat fees based on enrollment status (e.g., undergraduate, graduate student, professional school student), not the number of enrolled units. They do not include additional course or unit-based fees such as the IEI Fee or course materials and services fees that may be assessed for enrollment in selected courses, room and board costs for living on campus, or books and supplies. Summer Sessions has a separate fee schedule. For information on reductions, see Reduced Fee Programs.

The amounts shown in this document represent fees as currently approved. However, all University fees are subject to change, and the fee amounts billed for this period may be adjusted at a future date. See the fees menu page for updated fee information.

a. Reflects 8 percent increase approved by the Regents, November 2010.

b. Reflects 8 percent increase, after adjustment to consistent fee level for all students, approved by the Regents, November 2010. Also reflects 9.6% increase approved by the Regents, July 2011. MD students were exempt from the July 2011 increase for Fall Semester 2011 only.

c. Per University policy, 25 percent of this campus-based compulsory fee is used for local, need-based financial aid.

d. $13.20 is charged in Fall Quarter and $13.21 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters.

e. $37 is charged in Fall Quarter and $38 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters.

f. $34 is charged in Fall Quarter and $33 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters.

g. For graduate professional students, $4,081 is charged in Fall Quarter and $4,082 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters. Nonresident Supplemental Tuition (formerly Nonresident Tuition) for graduate students advanced to doctoral candidacy is reduced by 100%. The reduced fee is applicable for a maximum of nine quarters.

h. Art M.F.A. students: Resident $2,666 is charged in Fall Quarter and $2,667 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters; Nonresident $1,666 is charged in Fall Quarter and $1,667 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters. M.Arch. students: $2,666 is charged in Fall Quarter and $2,667 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters. D.D.S. students: Resident $8,054 is charged in Fall Quarter and $8,053 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters; Nonresident $7,039 is charged in Fall Quarter and $7,038 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters. M.B.A. students: Resident $9,905 is charged in Fall Quarter and $9,906 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters; Nonresident $8,223 is charged in Fall Quarter and $8,222 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters. D.Env., M.P.H., Dr.P.H., and M.P.P. students: Resident $2,271 is charged in Fall Quarter and $2,270 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters; Nonresident $2,423 is charged in Fall Quarter and $2,422 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters. M.S.W. and M.U.R.P. students: Resident $1,855 is charged in Fall Quarter and $1,854 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters; Nonresident $1,991 is charged in Fall Quarter and $1,990 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters. Theater, Film, and Television M.F.A. students: $2,887 is charged in Fall Quarter and $2,886 is charged in Winter and Spring Quarters.

i. Dentistry fee is called Gown and Instrument Fee. Law fee is called Materials and Technology Fee; students admitted Fall 2006 and earlier are charged $300/semester, and students admitted Fall 2007 are charged $400/semester.

j. $19.12 is charged in Fall Semester and $19.13 is charged in Spring Semester.
