UCLA Registrar's Office

Authorized staff may request student data. Requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and are approved or denied by the University Registrar. Charges, if any, vary depending on the request.

Authorized staff log into SAWeb to initiate a Registrar’s Service Request (RSR). Typical requests include

  • Access to student records data through API or SRDB
  • Addresses or phone numbers for students
  • Create a new job, program, or report
  • Mass e-mail to students
  • Run or modify a job or program

In the RSR application, see the Registrar’s Office Policy on Access to Student Data and the recharge and billing policy, and other policies regarding access to student record data.

Authorized personnel use their UCLA logon ID and password to log into SAWeb and access the RSR application. Users must also have an OASIS logon ID and FERPA training.
